Consent journey

Definition

The points where a person learns what a system will do, grants or refuses permission, and can revise that choice later.

A strong one previews future uses and lets the person approve, defer, or block them, shows what the system is permitted to do, and lets people pause or leave without losing access or service.

A journey that ends at adoption misses consent depth: the dependency keeps deepening after the permission was granted, and the choice has to be reopened rather than remembered.
