Moral performance indicators (MPIs)

Definition

Moral performance indicators (MPIs) is an older name for the five measures on the measurement tiers page. The site now calls them measures. They are rule change after upheld challenges, appeal success rate, burden ratio, reversibility rate, and time to halt (TTH). Each shows whether a system can still be halted, reversed, and challenged, or what its errors cost the people who carry them. They sit beside KPIs: KPIs track how fast a system grows, and these measures track how safely and fairly it operates.
