Decision artifact

Definition

One decision's output, in a form that can be traced to its owner and challenged. It records the outcome, the reason, the time, and the accountable owner. The standards call it the decision record (STD-07), and keep decision records in the decision log.

Decision artifacts anchor traceable ownership and make challenges measurable.
